Spinning & Spun

Is she beauty? Soft merino woolen batch from yarn.com. My mom bought it for me last Christmas present.

I keep going on and on spinning since last Monday. Because it was so hot for last two days. My house was 88F degree without A/C on. So I decided to turned on A/C for a short time. Whew. I had fun time with my dear spinning.

Full of bobbin, Yes, I fell in love with it. I like the color. I am planning to coat my spinning wheel to seal and protect, it will be a gloss dark red color, match my kitchen's color. My house is red color.

Lazy Kale. I don't have a real lazy kale just yet. So this basket with the holes are working perfect with my knitting needles to hold the bobbin while I am plying the yarns together. I created two plies yarn.

Two plies yarn. So perfect as I expected. At the first, when I started to learned how to spinning, it was so hard. YouTube made it looks so easy than really actually to do it by yourself. I keeping a sentence in my mind "Practice make Perfect". So I have been practicing since I bought it last year. Now I am doing perfect better than before when I started. I am planning to knitting a scarf or an motif, I haven't decide yet.

I need to weight it. I need to do a math for yard. I just washed and lying on my kitchen's counter to air dry. I can't stop looking at it. I was so exciting about it. It's my first handspun yarn. I am definitely to do it again for rest of my life.

Does she looks pretty, eh?
