New Project

I wanted to start a new project for my knitting. I started with my gauge swatch to get correct gauge for a project. Like an artist do with her/his art sketch paper before final start art. My gauge swatch is my sketch. I started with my picker (left hand). It was not good swatch. It was too loose and it will be too big for Emma's size. So I started over with my thrower (right hand). I knew that my thrower is always tight gauge. Bingo, it's exactly same gauge in the pattern calls for. I am glad that I have 2 chances. Some people can't do in two hands. Like if I didn't get a right gauge then I have another chance with my another hand to get gauge swatch. My hands have so different tension.

I started to wind my hankies into a ball. I have too many hankies to wind up.

I love my winder and umbrella winder. I can't live without them. I am so happy that I have them. Before I have them, I used a stick to winder up. Derek had to hold the yarn while I was winding with my own hand. It's took forever. One time, it took me three hours to get it done into a ball. The winder is much faster than a stick winder. It only took me 5 minutes. Nice, huh? I don't allow my kids to touch this stuffs. Because of my fan's blog that her nephew did broke her winder. I know Wyatt that well. He is still breaking stuffs. I am not buying new toys and/or stuffs for him until he realizes it and it's so annoying.

Ta-Da! I will winder the two remain white hankies later. I don't want to lose their tension while they are into the balls.
