I started to knitting a sleeve last two nights ago. Yesterday, after I finished a part of flower as calls in a pattern for. I realized that’s too tight fair isle sleeve. It’s looking like a 12 months size than a 5 years old size. So I ripped off and started over again without a fair isle. It’s also hard to knitting fair isle in the double point needles.
It was not looking so good with so tight fair isle and couldn’t to stretch it out. The stitches was pulled it in. So I’ll “cross stitches” the flower after its done. I don’t want to knit in intarsia--too many small balls in the double point needles. In case you were wondering: I don’t do magic loop with a long circular needles. I also did tried to use a 12" circular needle, it's not fitting--so few stitches on a circular, so I only had a chance is to using the double point needles. (Sorry no picture, I already ripped out before I had a chance to take a picture, but too late. Oh well.)
I don't want a second of sleeve looks different than a first sleeve, so I decided to started over to get a better and nice look on sleeves.
Yesterday, I wanted to start a new project. I knew that I can't. I have 3 WIP(work in process) projects that need to get finish first. I Must.Stay.Focus! (Help me)
Psst, Derek's older brother, Graden cannot fix it for us. So we filled a claim with our State Farm insurance. We only paid for $250. Our insurance paid for $850. I am so thankful for an insurance! I can't imagine live without auto insurance, health insurance, eyes insurance, and dentist insurance. Of course mortgage insurance. Can you imagine to live without it?
So we rented a car- Chevy Cruze 2013, color silver. It was speed and awesome car. But sadly, it's too smaller for Derek. He is too big and tall guy. He kept bumped his head and knees into a driver's door. I was laughing. It was perfect for me, I am tiny and short gal. We enjoyed drove around with car. We had it for a week. When I picked up my van from Preston Watt in Smithfield, I felt so big. I had to go so slowly when I turned.
I am so glad that our van is back because I can see better with high and big van than too small and can't see everything. The kids in the back seats are also small, they kicked on our seats in cruze. In our van, the kids can't kick the back of our seats, ah heavenly.
