What Are We Doing Lately....

I have been sewing stay-in-place kitchen towels lately. It's quickly project and also it's fun to sew. The leftover fabrics are good idea for this small project. I hate when they are always fell down, lie down on the floor, and no one picking it up. I want to sew a few of theses. It keeps me to stay sane and busy while the kids are coloring time. Right now, I like the chicken/farmhouse style.

I decided to try again to make homemade butter from whipped cream. Last time, the butter wasn't good. The last time I didn't know it does separated from buttermilk and butter. So I mixed it together. Now this time I separated. It's much better and delicious. I like this way than store bought butter: it has vegatable oils. I wanted a pure butter. We shakes the butter in a mason jar. It's fun and good arm workout. I am happy with the result. I'm thinking to do this often. Next time I need to buy cheesecloth to squeeze some buttermilk out. I like the feeling of a mini farmer.

I wanted to knit the fingerless mittens. I wanted in summer colors: green as a grass, and yellow as a sun to remind me to cheer up during the grey time in winter season. We definitely want to have some of bright colors in winter. This mittens had multi-surgeries. Thumb was too tight= cold, numb thumb. Not good, nope. Wrist was too tight that I forgot to stretch long-tail cast on. I made sure the top fingerless ribbing is loose while I bind-off them so I can spread, moveable, comfty my fingers. I did wanted to gave in this project but I am keep telling myself, nope, keep going on and finished this. I'm glad I did finished. I told Derek, oopies I have the wrong colors: Green Bay football colors, not in Denver broncos colors. I grinned a big smile to him and act innocent. He forgave me. He's a good husband.

I knit in cascade yarn: wool/nylon. Leftover yarns from Emma's heart and flower cardigan that I knitted a few months ago. I knit stripe every turn colour round: round 1- yellow, next round green and do it again over and over. I wanted thumbs green than all of yellow. I washed and blocked them. After I washed them, it's good shape like you are ironing your wrinkle clothes.

We went to the DI store today. The toys is brand new unopened box so I was like why not.

And bought this too. I like the colour. Mini farmhouse style in my kitchen.

And bought this "new" old tv because my another tv plug is loose and it'll be fell off from the tv anytime. ATV plug or something like that. The kids are always changing the plugs: DVD player plug, roku plug, and wii plug. So now we have three tv. One each plug and stop play around with it. It's good tv. All we need is ATV plug and it works. I love to shopping at the DI store. DI store is like an antique store to me.

Psst, I also bought DVD storage, a microwave plate. Microwave plate, itself is cost $99 if you need to order a new ones. Right now, we can't afford it so I looked it at the DI store and found it. It's fits inside of my microwave. All is good. Also plastic rug for my computer desk wheel chair. Carpet is getting worn out by wheel chair.

There you go, it's our week moment.
