I finished knitting a baby cardigan and a beret hat for Christmas gift of Derek's family. I love the owl buttons. It's easy and quick project. The yarn came from London, England. It's merino and silk blend. I'm hoping that they will love it.
Next project is to make a Soleado bag for me. It won't be the same colors as you are seeing it from here. It's pink, purple, green, blue, green, and black. I wanted the same colors above but there weren't any available left so bummer. One thing from the bag is different that I knit in a normal square than knit into a chart. I knitted a striped colors square.
Now I'm knitting slow down. I don't want to go fast. I'm done knitting for Christmas now. Now we need to go to shopping for Christmas gifts. Only two more to go. Then I will shopping for my kids. This time, they won't get the toys. They are always breaking the toys. So I will buy only blanket and clothes. They need to learn how to stop breaking their toys. It's frustrating. I already told everyone not to buy the toys for the kids. I told them that they are wasting their money.
