Wow, it's been long time since I last time blogged. December is crazy month for us. We are ready for Christmas. The shopping spree for the presents are done. No more stress until about next September of 2015. We got the food shopping spree for Christmas for Derek's family dinner done. We the family get something for the party than one person responsible and stressful, so we help out with them. That's what Christmas is all about, share. All I need to do is to wrapping the presents. I don't want to put the presents under the tree a week before the Christmas due to the kids to sneak around and peek the presents so they won't be too excited for Christmas. So I am pretending we are waiting for Santa Claus to come and deliver the presents.
Once I went out for shopping spree, I was so exciting due to a lot of the sales. I had been shopping for three days. Now, I am done because Derek is little bit of stress from my random shopping spree. I was like, oh look at this! (grab this item and put into a cart) then walk the next aisle and again said, oh look at this! And grab it again without hestiaste. Some of the items caught my eyes then I grabbed them without thinking. During the shopping spree, Wyatt was at school and Emma was with me. Yes, she saw some of the items and begged me to buy it for her. Whew, it's hard to have her around with me during the Christmas chaos around in the city. I can't wait for her to go to school next year so I can shopping spree by myself. We (Emma and I) went to bath & bed beyond, Walmart, Michael's, Knit Unique[yarn shop], Starbucks(tons, tons of coffee; yummy), Joann, Nature Grocers, Hobby Lobby, and Lowe's. What a fun!
At the yarn shop, I wanted a Lazy Kate for my spinning. Because Derek doesn't know what to buy for me for Christmas present so I went and get it for him. The two yarns caught my eyes so I took them with me. I am yarn addict. I can't resist them.
Anyway, once I saw this ninja turtle from Pinterest and wanted to make ones for Wyatt. He loves the show of it. It's great for 7 years old little guy. Yarn: Lion Brand Vanna's choice in red, orange, green, rusty brown, blue. Red heart yarn in purple. It's good yarns for the rough kid. I used Addi and soft touch hooks because I couldn't decide which to use the hook so I used them both. My mood is little fighting with me about the hooks. Tulip hook is my favorite but it was in use the another project. The pattern was easy to read and make. I looked up in my ravelry and found it to use on my finished project section. You, knitter, will understand what I am talking about.
I think this is cool project for boy. I made little pretty a lot for Emma so I don't want to left Wyatt out.
Today's weather: I am not happy that we are having green Christmas. There is no, I mean NO snow at all. Well, I lied, it did once for like an hour and snow is only about 1 inch, then melt away. I want a white Christmas so bad! One reason why I want to move to Maine. Also it's warm than usually temperature. Sighs.
PS, I have been using my iPad for blogging until now I am using my laptop to write it because it, my computer is totally different than my old laptop and the style are way off until now it upgrade and look better than before. I couldn't even download the pictures from this laptop. iPad was easy to upload the pictures. Now it's easy to upload the pictures now. But I love the Pic Collage app to all into one photo than upload the few of pictures. My laptop is Toshiba, new laptop. I couldn't afford the Mac laptop right now. It's ridiculous price! All I use are: craftsy with closed captions; the iPad doesn't have app with subtitles just yet, and blog. That's all.
Now I am off, I will blog later, Merry Christmas! xoxo
