Oy! We landed in Salt Lake City airport in really late night on Saturday. Almost to midnight due to delayed from San Francisco airport. Delayed: really late inbound crew. I really love the plane most of time of our vacation.
We arrived in our hotel: Quality Inn on Wednesday, 7.15.15. We had layovers two flights. I absolutely loved it! I don't really like nonstop flight. I loved the feeling of takeoff and landing. During in the plane, we love to watch the tiny cities below. We did part of touch in SF, CA. So I don't have to visit it. I saw a city of SF and Golden Bridge on my flight. That's good enough for me. That's means SF is do exist from the movies.
I thought it will be awful of layover in SFO. Really, it isn't. I was surprised. It has playground for the kids, which it is so neat! We ate Chinese food in SFO. The kids ate pizza. We walked around in departure level. I love to see the planes takeoffs and landings. We did breathe the air outside of SFO to count of my visit to SF for a few minutes. TSA gave the kids the colors book to keep them busy. I was like thank god for that!
Once we arrived in Anaheim, we went to Downtown Disney to ate the restaurant at Rain forest Cafe. It was an hour and a half waiting in the line but we decided to claimed the bar instead of waiting. It was empty of 4 seats and we are lucky to got the seats. Oy, it was so expensive prices! But, of course, it's California. It's their price equal to their paycheck wage and it was different than Utah prices.
Next day, we went to Disneyland park. It surely was longest day ever! The waiting line stand-by was so long. We left our hotel to ART bus to Disneyland at around 8:30pm, actually, we didn't pay attention the time. We didn't get to our hotel until 11PM. We went to almost all of the rides. I finally rode the Monorail! Because I remembered that when I first time saw it, I begged my dad to ride it and my dad said no because it related to Disneyland hotel. I knew it that he is wrong. Our last ride was Splash Mountain. It was an hour and a half wait in the line due to the maintain problems. The ride was jammed. Most of the FastPass give up and left before 15 minutes when it's resumed. We didn't give up. My feet were killing me! So we decided to leave to go back to the hotel due to our bodies aches. Yes, the kids threw the tantrums by wanted to see the neon parades and firework. By the bus, we saw some of fireworks. I really much needed to get my feet off the floor. When I was woke up in the next morning, it was little better but still sore.
Next day, we went to California Adventure. I decided for all of us that we can only ride 5 rides due to my feet. So we went to Cars, The Little Mermaid, The Monster Inc., Terror Tower, and Cars tractors. We did planned on going to Grizzly bear ride but it was 55 minutes wait in stand-by. I said no. We went to the cafe and Starbucks. It was pretty short activities in California Adventure. We tried to find the time to swimming the hotel pool but couldn't. Once we returned to our hotel, we rested pretty much. We did planned on going to House of Blue restaurant but we are too exhausted from Disneyland park. So we ordered the Chinese take out. We went to the Walmart neighborhood store. I was jealous because it has alcohol aisle. Utah don't have it. Of course, we bought the Smirnoff and wines.
Of course, we met many of Disney princess, princes, mickey mouse and Minnie. Even green toy army.
We used Super Shuttle to drop/pick from the airport to hotel and from hotel to the airport. We used ART: Anaheim Resort Transportation bus to Disneyland from hotel. It was one mile between.
We had a breakfast with Goofy in Goofy's kitchen in Disneyland hotel.
I asked the kids what are their favorite ride: Wyatt loves Terror Tower Hotel. Emma loves Splash Mountain. Me, of course the plane from airport. I do love them all the rides. But flight is my favorite part of the vacation.
I didn't ask Derek what is his favorite, I am sure he loves them all like I do.
I did wanted to go to the beach but my feet can't take any longer as it can go. So do the Yarn store but can't. Cursed you, feet!
I will post the pictures soon.
Happy day!
