Quiet......

I am watching Craftsy: Knitting Texture One Motif At A Time. I am enjoying to watch with Laura Nelkin classes. She is a good teacher.

Yarn: Cloudborn Fibers Merino Superwash Sock Twist. I am using large size (60 stitches). I made the stitch marker: sea turtle . Aren't they that cute? I love sea turtle. I love being under the sea. I always want to go to the clearest water beach, aka hawaii or bora bora. 

I just want to be quiet time and knit. I was little crazy in these days with my disorders. Knitting helps to calm me down. 

To be honest, I want to knit all the patterns of Laura Nelkin's patterns. I am obsessing about her. 

Before yarn. 

My neighbor's cat was sitting on top of the fence. She looked up to see me. She caught an another mice in my backyard. She is shy cat. She won't let us to pet her. 

A roving 100% merino into yarn.

In the next day, I have been spinning when the kids were with their grandparents for two days. I got it finished when the kids are home. I spun in under 12 hours, this isn't me. I had a good time of freedom time without the kids. 

I used chain-plied the yarn. It was only one on bobbin. It is about 120 yards and sport weight. 

The heavy smoke from Plymouth. It was human caused. I think it was spread to about 10k acres. I could be wrong. This came from my front yard head west. I love the orange-red sun. Later in the night time, we saw the creepy red moon. I was little spooky. 

The smoke was heading to the east from my backyard. 

So far in the summer, here in the western states have really drought lands. We have mini fire in the canyon. The firefighters were working hard to put the fire out very quickly. I love Cache Valley town. Most the big fires are came from Salt Lake City. We were lucky in this county where there were mini fires. We are 80 miles north from Salt Lake City. 

It's crazy. The mountains are so so so dry. You could see the yellow grasses on the mountain. I don't use water sprinkle for my grass, it hards to stay green in this drought weather. I am saving my money and water. Plus the pipe is still broken. No, our grass is not very yellow like the mountain has. We need rain, but I love the sun so much! I am not looking forward for darker season. 

Yep, you got this right. At the first, I thought it was a joking. I was shocking to see this in reality after I watched the news on TV. My face was like, are you kidding me? It surely does smells like a swedish  fish candy. But it is too sweeter that I don't really like.

I need to go back and knitting. Knitting is the best thing in my life.
