Easter Time Together

How's your Easter Day? Our was, eh, okay. The kids had the meltdown in a half of day. When the evening was came, it was good. We went to Golden Corral for our Easter breakfast. We had not gone to there for 6 years and I had forgotten how it looks like. Now, it was ok. I like village inn restaurant better. My opinion. Derek likes the buffet to get as much as you can.

Derek was stubborn to buy the Easter baskets for the kids. I think it was totally waste due to the kids break them. We couldn't go to the family for Easter due to Emma has a pink eye. I don't even know how did she got it from. Last week, we are pretty much staying home all week. Derek recently mowed the lawn so we couldn't hide the eggs and I don't want them to eat too much of candies. Plus waste of money too. So we did do dyed the eggs instead. I think dyed the eggs are fun. The kids love it. Sometimes it stresses me due to the dyed messy. After we dyed, I made the devil eggs with avocado instead the mayo and more healthier. I used the organic foods. I like the taste of it. Yes, I wore the Christmas apron. Lucky, the blue ones was splash on over me. Yay apron.

I'm knitting a brioche cowl. I started it last night. Because I only have one project: baby blanket with over 400 stitches. It'll be up to 816 stitches. I knit two rounds a day due to about 2 hours total of two rounds worth of knit. So I want to start a small project. I love knitting so much. I couldn't live without it. So I used in two colors. Purple/grey with minty. The yarns: Lorna's Laces Honor. 70% baby alpaca 30% silk. It's little light than called for. I wanted to use up my yarn stashes. I got this yarns by mistake. I ordered for Lorna's Lace Sportmate but they sent me the wrong ones but I don't bother to replace because hey, it's alpaca!  So soft! I am using Clover Bamboo circular needle due to my loose gauge. Metal is not ideal for my gauge with this project. Too slippery and very loosely stitches. Bamboo wood is better and more sturdy for my project. I'm using 2.75mm with 16 inches circular.
