Christmas Break

Happy New Year! I can't believe that 2016 is here. I am still thinking that 1990 is only ten years ago. Nope, it IS 26 years ago! 😱

Our Christmas break was good and bad. Good= we had a great time with Derek's family on Christmas eve and the 26th. We stayed at our house on Christmas day. I wanted to try out by ourselves about Christmas day just for four of us in my own home. I made breakfast and dinner. Bad= the kids woke up without to wake us up for the presents. They went on and opened the presents without their parents around to see them. I was furious. I told the kids that you need to wake us up first. We missed the surprised of their faces. And second bad news is that we were sick with stomach flu. We had food poison, then the kids started puke/diarrhea. I had stomach ache.

My parents came on the 27th at my house, because I told them that I don't want to drive down to Bountiful. Plus, it was snow a lot.

As of today, we are getting better from the flu. I cleaned the house to get rid of the flu bacteria everywhere.

I am so happy that the Christmas break is over. The kids are returning to the school on Monday. Hooray for mommy.

I am hoping this 2016 will be great. You probably says in your mind that everyone said the same thing over in every new year. I mean that what will 2016 bring to everyone. We can't see the future what 2016 will looks like. Plus, I am hoping for a great new president of the US. My resolution of this year is knitting ever more(er). Of course, I can't wait to see what the knitters, their blog to read. Like, I can read from January to December of 2015 of the blog relate with knitting.

My plan this year for Christmas 2016 is to knitting everyone in the Thorup's family socks. Derek's family is allergy to wool. So do Kelli. I did do my homework to figured out the math of their shoes sizes for socks. I couldn't have done this without the book: 'Custom Socks' by Kate Atherley.

I am going to enjoy the winter wonderland of January as much as I can. I hate summer. I hate the insects and spiders. I hate the heat. I hate to do the lawn work. I just love the white snow blanket over the town. Today, lately of the weather is below zero in F degrees. Nice! Of course, with our fireplace. Mm. You must be thinking that I am freaking crazy. Oh well. I just love snow.

Happy 2016, Happy knitting, and Happy MacBook.
