Cure For Winter

Cure for winter, what is that??

Well, everything is white, gray, and blue outside. The living organs are "dead". No leaves on the trees, ugly grass, no flowers, and no colorful outside. Don't get me wrong, I do still usually love winter season. I love being cold, cozy by fireplace, cover the blankets and knitting. The kids are watching the movies beside the fireplace.

But, I need something that are colorful. I think it impacts with the aging. Like wanting to see the flowers spring. Want to walk outside with the colorful landscape. I really want to hike. But it's still January. January is usually slow month for me, but not for a while ago until today. I am ready for spring to come. I want to swim. (We are planning on going to Mesquite, NV and Bear Lake this summer, oh yes, there will be definitely swimming)

So this colors are helping me through the gray days.

I am knitting the socks for Christmas for everyone in the Thorup's family(mine family, not Derek's due to allergy). So this is springy colors.

It's so nice to knitting something bright colors during gray days.

I am working on Basic Ribbed Sock by Kate Atherley.

Gosh! I love this needles. It's Knitter's Pride Karbonz that I bought in Blazing Needles.
