A Few Things

Derek's grandma, Maurine Godfrey, passed away last week. We went for the viewing and funeral. I was not good at emotional thingy. I don't like to cry in front of the people. I didn't mean that I look like I don't care. Just not good at emotional thingy.

We already know that death is part of natural, life, earth, and you can't do to prevent it. Derek was lucky to have his grandma until he is in his thirty's. My both grandparents are gone when I was very young. Our nephew, Quintin, is lucky teenager boy to have his great grandma until he is 15 years old. My great grandparents are already gone before I was even born. My parents had the children in late age. My dad was only ten when his first nephew was born. That's why the reason I got married right after graduation from High School and immediately to have the kids.

The cemetery is in Clarkston. It was windy and cold outside. I didn't wore the coat.

We had lunch together.

I finished this long cowl a few days ago. It was wet and blocked. Now it is dry and ready to wear it. I use Cascade Yarn Eco Alpaca yarn. Pattern: Wintering.

I started working on socks. Because it is March now. I don't want to be stress when the summer is over.

It is for Justin. I am already on heel flap part now.

Today's weather: we have snow lately. I was ready to wearing the short, mother nature says nope, you are not. I desperate for the sunshine.
