Welcome April

Finally, March is gone. That's means the summer is getting closer. I usually love winter cold days. But the beginning of the year, I wanted sunshine, warm, & long daylight. I am happy that daylight is finally here. No more dark early. I love to see the sunrise in every early morning. My body must to have sun soak on me. It's help to cheer, lift up, and sun therapy.

I usually love this temperature of 50 F degrees, but right now, it's BRRR for me. I wanted 80 F degrees. (I can't wait for Mesquite, NV for our mini vacation in June)

I ordered 8 books by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee. I love knitting related book. I just bought Knitlandia by Clara Parkes. Currently, I am reading A Yarn Whisperer also by Clara Parkes. I love this book. I didn't thought of this reality life compare with knitting life world.

Lately, I have been ordered a lot things from Amazon. I feel like it Christmas again. I  love to see the boxes at my front door. I know that I already know what is inside, but I love to see and touch the real things on my hands from the orders on the computer. Also, what is inside that boxes when my orders are shipped. They are not in organize shipping. I have one remain that are still in shipping to come.

I ordered dark blue fingering weight yarn to knit the a pair of socks for my mom for Christmas 2016.

I am almost finishing the second socks for my brother, Justin. Like I said in earlier, that I am knitting everyone in Thourp's family socks for Christmas. Except for Jayden, his wife is allergic to wool.

We went to Baby Animals Day in American West Heritage Center. We had blast time. I love to hold the baby chicken and ducks. I am little disappointed that we missed the baby rabbit. The weather was so weird. The moment we arrived, it was light mist raining, a half hour later, it was so wet and humid, I took off the jacket. Sweat and humid= unforgivable. Then another half hour later, it was sunny. The last moment before we leave to head home, the raining was so pouring hard and windy. We ran to our van in the very far away from the entrance.

Here the pictures:

The baby chicken.

The baby ducks.

 The donkey and goat.

The baby bears.

The baby turtles.

The baby goats. I love them so MUCH! They were "BAA" at me. I love to pet them, really soft fur. I saw the dried belly cord connection to the mother.

 The baby cow.

Our spring break was good. The kids went to the Moab with their grandparents Thorup. I was free for  Saturday night to Wednesday afternoon. I love to sit on my bed and watched the Netflix and knitting. No chores for me. but we did cleaned the kitchen together and went to WinCo grocery store after we came come from the frontrunner to dropped off and picked up the kids. I love to take frontrunner, because I hate to drive the crazy freeway down to Bountiful. The freeway roads were chaos due to the construction. I hate slow traffic, busy, too fast than limited MPH, and cops. We used the highway 89 to Ogden. We parked our van there and take the train to Woods Cross. My parents picked us up. I love being in the train, worry free, watch outside while the train is in motion, love to sit with the table, it has plug for changer, it has restroom, and we love to sit the top level of train. Derek was sleeping there. I was planning to knitting, but I was so much enjoyed to watching outside the views.

Tonight, I am going to knitting and watch the movie: Daddy's Home.

Happy Knitting and Happy Spring.
