Today's Blog

Hello you all,

I have been so busy like a crazy. May, June, and July will be so super busy for me. But that is good to keep me to stay sane than being bored and grumpy. The kids will have the activities in the summer to keep them busy while I am working.

Next week or two, I am getting surgery to fix my uterus tubes tied. I am exciting and relieved. I can worry free. No BC, or IUD or anything. Derek will get his later in next year or so.

In June, we will be at Disneyland again. Surprisedly! Yeah, the kids didn't know until we get there. We have been keeping secrets for a while.

Anyway,

I decided to bought this FitBit Alta bracelet after I went to doctor visiting. I am really enjoying it so far. It has vibrate, time, sleep tracking, calories tracking, exercise tracking, date, read texts, how many minutes, and how many steps. It is water resisted. I like the charger than using the battery, battery is pain in a$$.

Yesterday, I took a bike ride to Knit Unique yarn shop. It was little hard due to little hill up than down to my house. I want to keep exercise daily. I also frequent taking the public bus around the city for my exercise and save my gas. I walk, I bike, I take the bus. Those are fun and work out well.

Derek's friend from the work, gave me the fresh shored off of the sheep hair for me to spinning. I am so excited! There are still a lot of wool to be wash. I am doing time to time due to huge wool. Washing is hard work. I have to do repeat and repeat wash in one batch of wool. I have about 12 batches of wool. I used blue dawn dish soap. Wash for like 3 times. The first of wash, there was so dirty and brown water. Then second and third washes, there were some of dirty remain. I have to shake then off after they are dry.

I want to buy another spinning wheel. It is Louet S10 DT. I want this ones to spinning with the wool. I bought the hand carders for woolen yarn, I need to buy hand combs for worsted yarn soon. I bought the Craftsy class: fiber preparation for spinning with Esther Rodgers. I love this class online. It was so good and learning a lot.

On May 7th, we will go to Cornish for Wool Trek 2016: Who: spinners, knitters, weavers, and curious interlopers. When: May 7th 10:00AM-3:00ish (or however long folks want to stay). Where: Cornish. What: potluck brunch wheels, spindles, needles and gossip, skirt scramble, wool sales-fleece-roving-yarn-felt.

It will be my first time for yarn festive! I am exciting, because I have been wanted to go to Rhinebeck, New York for wool fair festive in every fall season.

It will be fun! Yay me!

Eh, ugh, yikes, ew to this weather today. I want sunshine, sun, sunny, bright sunny to be here. I hate this depress, gray, cold, dark, and tired weather. It's been almost 2 weeks. I miss sun, anyone of you who are living in the sunny place, you lucky! It's has been windy. I was worried about my trampoline in my backyard, and also my trash can. But they are all ok after I woke up this morning.

I'm going to sit down by my precious fireplace and knitting. I have been working on my Etsy all this morning.
