Life Cycle Blanket

Finally, my knitting is done. I wanted something to feel antique blanket for my cousin, Aaron Jensen soon to be daddy newborn baby.

I had been knitting for 2 months. I could get it done in about 3 weeks but I didn't. I was sick for almost two weeks. I was too attract the movies. Yesterday, I had bold decision that I will finish this blanket so I did. I blocked it today. I use ayrrolo yarn from Blazing Needles in SLC.

I took some of the pictures in processed of knitting. The only longest is knit the edge to bind off the body. I knit in 12 repeats in each sides. I knit 3 repeat in each corners.

I am glad it is done because I want to knit in colorful project next. But first, I need to knit the cutest booties from Stephanie Pearl-McPhee. It will be the same yarn as a blanket to match.

I blocked on my basement floor. It's too big for my block board. I don't want block on my bed. I need my own bed. So I had an idea to do this because it's new carpet from my friend. Also, it's good place to block to stay away from the kids.

Looks neat? Yes? I am still in amazing mode to saw this. It's certainly beautiful.
